2. Scope
These Terms of Service apply to all orders placed through the webshop passionbeyondtheveil.com. By placing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms.
3. Age Verification — Adults Only
Our webshop sells products intended exclusively for persons aged 18 years or older. By making a purchase, the customer explicitly confirms that they have reached the age of 18. Passion Beyond the Veil reserves the right to cancel orders if there is any doubt regarding the buyer's age.
4. Products and Pricing
All prices are listed in euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT. In the case of promotions or discounts, the previous reference price will always be displayed. Passion Beyond the Veil reserves the right to change prices and product offerings without affecting orders that have already been placed.
5. Orders and Payment
An order is final upon receipt of the order confirmation by email. Payment must be made using the payment methods available at the time of purchase. In the event of non-payment, Passion Beyond the Veil reserves the right to cancel the order.
6. Delivery
Orders are processed within 3 of receipt of payment. The estimated delivery time is 5 for Belgium. In the event of a delay or change, the customer will be informed by email as soon as possible. Passion Beyond the Veil is not liable for delays caused by third parties (e.g. carriers).
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with European consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), the customer has the right to withdraw from an order within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.
Exception — hygiene products: The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken after delivery. This applies to certain products in our range (such as sex toys). The customer is explicitly informed of this before placing their order.
For products to which the right of withdrawal does apply, the customer must notify us at support@passionbeyondtheveil.com within the 14-day period. Return costs are at the customer's expense unless otherwise stated. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.
8. Conformity and Warranty
Passion Beyond the Veil guarantees that all products conform to their description and meet the statutory conformity requirements (Directive 2019/771/EU). In the event of a lack of conformity, the customer is entitled to repair, replacement, or reimbursement in accordance with applicable law.
9. Complaints
Complaints can be submitted via support@passionbeyondtheveil.com. We aim to respond to every complaint within 5 business days. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the customer may contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (www.consumentenombudsdienst.be).
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by U.K. law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to the customer's right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
11. Amendments
Passion Beyond the Veil reserves the right to amend these terms. The most recent version will always be available on the website. Amendments do not apply to orders that have already been placed.
